Partner
Partner Arn Bortz has been with Towne for over twenty-five years. He specializes in urban infill and adaptive reuse projects in the heart of the city. His success has been dependent upon his crafting of public/private partnerships that address a city's needs while ensuring a fair return to the developer. As a former Mayor for Cincinnati, Bortz has sat on both sides of the negotiating table. That experience and the relationships which have grown out of such work provide a strong foundation for new projects in the future, both in Cincinnati and elsewhere.

Chad Munitz
Vice President of Development
Chad Munitz is the Vice President of Development for Towne Properties. Chad leads a team that identifies and implements development projects for Towne with the objective of creating high-quality communities. He set the priorities and overall strategic direction for all development projects at Towne with responsibilities including: identifying and pursuing potentially beneficial projects, creating budgets, establishing schedules and designs, developing underwriting and proformas, securing project funding, and obtaining project approvals and closing. Prior to working at Towne, Chad was the Executive Vice President at 3CDC for over 9 years where he oversaw over $829 million in development projects resulting in 125 restored buildings, 10 acres of civic space, 1K+ condominiums and apartments, 150+ hotel rooms, 325 shelter beds, 2K+ parking spaces, and 835K+ sf of commercial space. Chad has also served as the Development Director for the City of Cincinnati and worked for the Ohio Department of Development.

Neil Bortz
Founder of Towne Properties
In 1961 Neil Bortz, Lamber Agin, and Marvin Rosenberg founded Towne Properties. Its mission was to develop well-located, well-designed, well-constructed, and well-managed "Great Places to Live." Towne's first challenge was to lead the renaissance of Cincinnati's Mt. Adams, then a declining, inner-city neighborhood adjacent to downtown with great views and innate charm. The successes on "The Hill" were soon applied to the creation of award-winning apartment communities throughout Great Cincinnati, Dayton, and Lexington, Kentucky. By the mid 1970's, Towne began to diversify into land development, offices, and retail. Throughout its history, Towne has never lost sight of its original philosophy: a Master Developer that carefully follows every steop of the development process from concept to long-term management. Towne has created truly "Great Places to Live, Work, Shop and Play" and earned the undisputed title of the region's Most Honored Developer.
